Direction for pressed flower art
- Start by selecting the flowers that you want to use for your project
- Take the back off of the frame and take out the glass. Trace the glass on your card stock or paper
- Cut to size
3. Decide on what shape you would like your design, then lightly draw or trace it onto your paper.
4. Choose flowers that will outline your design. See photo for an example. I am using a flower with a straight piece to follow the traced line of my shape.
5. Apply glue to the back of the flower and place it here you want it to go. Press lightly on the flower.
6. Using the tweezers may be easier for this part of the project, continue gluing the flowers in place until your shape is filled. You may overlap flowers if you like. It is up to you.
7. Let your project dry for at least 2 hours.
8. Replace the glass into the frame. Place the front of your against the glass. Put the back of the frame in place. If you are using a frame like mine, place your artwork face up on the back piece of glass, lay the top glass on top. Careful not to move the art work around. Slip the glass into the frame.
9. Hang up and enjoy!! Share this how to use pressed flowers art tutorial with your friends.
