Here we are in the thick of planting seedlings. Week 21, the third week in May and the frenzy continues.

I am finding myself in a bit of a pickle. I totally ran out of planting space. So you know what next week means…yes the dreaded sod removal. There are a few things on this urban flower farm that I do not like to do and one of them is sod removal. Ideally I would have started enough beds last fall. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04OvxsmWNH8 This link is a good little video of how I use tarps and fabric.

I try to take time and wander around my yard, enjoy what I have planted there. This purple phlox is one of the things I look forward to every May. It keeps getting bigger and better.
